Cards and Coffee Privacy Policy

Cards and Coffee is a card-game app for iPhone and iPad. No account is required. The app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

Game saves, preferences, statistics, and recent-game history are stored locally on your device. Game histories do not contain card-by-card records. You can delete saved games and reset statistics through the app. The app does not upload this information to a Cards and Coffee server or provide its own cloud sync. Your device's backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple.

Nearby Cribbage

If you choose two-player nearby Cribbage, the app requests Local Network access to discover and connect to another nearby device. The devices exchange display names, connection information, and encrypted gameplay data directly. Each player receives only the game information they are entitled to see. This data is not sent to a Cards and Coffee gameplay server. Nearby play is optional; offline play does not require Local Network access.

Purchases and diagnostics

Apple handles the purchase and delivery of the app through the App Store. Cards and Coffee does not request or store your payment-card details. The app uses Apple system logging for technical connection diagnostics and does not include private hands, pairing codes, or encryption keys in those logs. Apple may provide developers with crash reports and diagnostics according to Apple's services and your device's settings.

Support and the website

If you contact support, your message and any information you choose to include will be used to respond to your request. Do not include payment details or other sensitive information in a bug report. If published on GitHub Pages, this website is hosted by GitHub. GitHub logs and stores visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. Its processing of website information is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. Support email is handled through Gmail and is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices.
